Just wanted to share with you how pleased I am with the purchase I made from you on eBay.  A little over a week ago, I finally had the opportunity to try out my 5 wt W&C bamboo rod on a private ranch in Northeast California.  While it was not my first cast (on water), it was my second that produced this beautiful Lost Creek Rainbow on a size 16 Callibaetis Dun during a hatch of the same.

While not a flattering picture of myself, I needed a way to get a picture of the fish and the rod together.  This one measured in at 19” and 5 minutes later I landed a second fish that measured 21.  My buddy had already kicked his way to the other side of the small lake, so unfortunately I failed to get a picture of that one.  He also said that I now need to get a “cool, classic” reel… one more fitting of a bamboo rod than the reel I was using.

Anyway, I am now looking forward to fishing the 7 ft 4 wt, but that may have to wait until next year as I do not have any small creek trips planned at this time (this year)… but who knows… I may have to make the time!

Needless to say, I am a very satisfied customer and have a new appreciation for bamboo!
